MS makes upgrade to LEDs at Head Office

MS have made significant upgrade to LEDs for our lighting at our Aylesbury Head Office Facility as part of our carbon plan, making reductions on environmental impact, in aim to reach our net-zero goal.

The installation of PIR sensors to our office lighting and the upgrade to LEDs will allow for considerable energy savings throughout the building. The sensors are programmed to switch on the lights when motion is detected and will switch off automatically after a period of time.

Lighting accounts for nearly 5% of global CO2 emissions – a global switch to energy-efficient LEDs could save over 1.4 billion tons of CO2 from being emitted into our atmosphere.

LED lights are a sustainable alternative to fluorescent and incandescent bulbs as they use at least 75% less energy to produce the same amount of light. This, coupled with an extended lifespan will save the business a huge amount as well as reduce our carbon footprint.

We encourage the upgrade to LEDs across all of our clients’ sites as part of their carbon management plan as utility bills and costs continue to rise.
